Influencers ask for the Lion

Popular influencers have been asking foodservice operators to be more transparent about where the eggs they serve are sourced.

@newquaymummy (34,000 followers) and Scottish family influencer of the year, @winging_mamahood (40,000 followers) have been explaining that they always check if the eggs are British Lion stamped when eating out with their young families, to ensure they are FSA approved for vulnerable groups to eat runny.

Approved by the Food Standards Agency as safe to eat runny for all, including vulnerable groups, British Lion eggs not only keep customers happy, they provide assurance to proprietors that they are serving safe, high quality eggs at all times.

If you are sourcing eggs make sure they are British Lion, and make this clear to your customers by displaying the Lion mark on menus and advising front of house staff.
