Cranberry sour

This delightful concoction will elevate your cocktail game this Christmas!


  • 10 raspberries
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 small lime
  • 1 medium British Lion egg white
  • 1 or 2 measures of vodka or gin (optional)


  1. Mash 7 of the raspberries with the honey and lime juice, then push through a nylon sieve to make a smooth puree. Discard the pips.
  2. Place the puree in a cocktail shaker with the egg white and cranberry juice and alcohol if using.
  3. Add a few ice cubes, secure the lid and shake well for a minute. Then strain slowly into a martini glass. Thread the remaining raspberries onto a cocktail stick and carefully lay across the top of the glass to decorate.
