Tastemade’s fried rice frittata

Need a quick and easy meal to feed the family? Crack into Tastemade's fried rice frittata for a tasty and nutritious dish 


  • 1tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • Thumb sized piece of ginger
  • 1 chilli
  • 3 spring onions
  • 150g peas
  • 250g cold cooked rice
  • 2tbsp soy sauce
  • 9 British Lion eggs


1.    Preheat oven to 200°C. 
2.    Heat oil in a suitable pan that can also go in the oven. Chop the garlic, ginger, chilli and spring onions and add to the pan. Let them cook for a few minutes then add the peas and cooked rice.
3.    Toss and season with a splash of soy sauce then crack the British Lion eggs into a measuring jug and pour them into the pan on a high heat. 
4.    Cook for one minute then place in the oven for about 10 minutes, until cooked through. 
5.    Serve and enjoy
