- Invite pupils to talk about some of the foods they like and dislike, and encourage them to discuss how healthy these foods are.
- Print and hand out the Healthy food heroes worksheets and explain that they will cut out the cards, and match each picture to its name and description. Clarify any unfamiliar words.
- Pupils could stick each picture with its related description into their workbooks or onto coloured card, to make a healthy food mobile.
- To conclude, tell pupils that by eating healthy foods, their bodies will grow, they will have lots of energy and will help them stay healthy and happy.
