There were approximately 1,000 delegates at the event who were health visitors, school nurses and community nurses. Dr Juliet Gray, the co-author of the Journal of Health Visiting paper ‘Egg consumption in pregnancy and infant diets: How advice is changing’ was on hand to discuss the details of her study to the health workers.

As well as updating delegates about allergy and weaning with eggs, the team discussed the safety of Lion Quality eggs, cholesterol, satiety and the various nutritional benefits of eating eggs.

A prize draw was held at the event – five winners were selected whose names are: Charlotte Kelly-Billett, Stella Mann, Charlotte Keane, Ann-Marie Johnson and Maggie Campbell. The winners have been contacted and prizes have been sent out.
