British Lion egg Eggrecipes Instagram gains 8,000 followers in less than six months
The British Lion eggs Instagram account Eggrecipes’ following has tripled in less than six months following the launch of a range of new recipe videos, a link with Instagram star, Lottie Murphy, and inspiring egg dish images, as well as an effective online advertising campaign which promotes Eggrecipes Instagram to a larger online community.
Content including a collection of speedy recipe videos and an Instagram takeover by health guru Lottie Murphy, has been backed with an online advertising campaign put in place to drive consumers to the Eggrecipes account. This inspiring content has helped triple Eggrecipes’ Instagram following in less than six months, jumping from 4k to 12k since February 2016.
Andrew Joret, Chairman of the British Egg Industry Council, said: “We already have a strong online presence in place from eggrecipes.co.uk and egginfo.co.uk and with the addition of social platforms, we are now able to reach an even larger demographic. More and more consumers are using Instagram, so for our account to have such a significant online presence, helps us to inspire consumers to eat more eggs.”
