Celebrity chef fronts British Egg Week campaign

TV chef Paul Merrett will be helping people to find ‘Time for Eggs’ in preparation for British Egg Week (4-10 October).

Paul Merrett, well known for showing how to cut food bills on BBC’s Economy Gastronomy, has developed a new range of delicious recipes made with British Lion eggs especially for the campaign.

The recipes will feature on a special British Egg Week website along with hints, tips and a competition to win signed copies of his Economy Gastronomy cookery book. Major supermarkets will also highlight the recipes and top tips about eggs on leaflets, posters and banners this autumn.
