#Eggcentric ambassadors announced

11/01/2016

Top chef, Neil Rankin, and TV and radio presenter Jenni Falconer, have signed up to be British Lion eggs ambassadors for 2016, joining TV celebrity and fitness entrepreneur Lucy Mecklenburgh.

Neil Rankin, whose London restaurant Bad Egg opened in 2015, has developed a #EggCentric recipe collection featuring a dozen exciting and modern recipes with eggs as the “hero” ingredient. The new recipe collection has been designed to respond to demand for more adventurous egg recipes.

Jenni Falconer, who is a health and fitness enthusiast, will join an eggs ‘masterclass’ hosted by Neil Rankin to launch the #EggCentric campaign in January. The EggCentric hashtag will also encourage people to try the recipes for themselves and share the results on social media.

Lucy Mecklenburgh will continue to share her love of eggs as a Lion ambassador in 2016, promoting eggs as a nutritious and tasty hero ingredient. Lucy has 2.5 million followers who follow her healthy lifestyle on Instagram and Twitter, making her perfect for spreading the #EggCentric message.
