Food safety expert highlights issues with imported eggs

Independent food safety expert, Sterling Crew, has  responded to reports of imported eggs appearing on supermarket shelves, voicing his concerns on LinkedIn around the food safety risks. 

Crew reminded his 30k strong audience of food safety professionals that the Lion mark guarantees eggs and egg products have been produced to the highest standards of food safety in accordance with the British Lion Code of Practice, and are approved by the FSA to be consumed runny by vulnerable groups.
