Main Meals in Minutes

14/03/2013

New research* shows time-strapped home cooks are more likely to cook a quick meal from scratch than pop a ready meal in the microwave, so it’s cracking news that two rising culinary stars have launched a new recipe collection of egg–based main meals in minutes.

The series of ten meals – all 15 minutes or less – come courtesy of Celebrity Master Chef winner Liz McClarnon and former head of Claridge’s, Mark Sargeant, and comprise of delicious omelettes, tortillas and frittatas with a twist.

*In a survey of 2,000 UK adults by OnePoll (January 2013), 69% of respondents said they would be more likely to cook a quick meal such as pasta or an omelette when short of time, compared with 21% who would be more likely to buy a ready/microwave meal.
