Millennials are getting eggcited on Instagram

In conjunction with British Egg Week’s social media theme of #PutanEggonit, British Lion eggs has launched some new consumer research highlighting the growing popularity of eggs on social media. The research revealed that millennials are going ‘share crazy’ over eggs, with 60% of Brits aged 18-24 taking photos of food for social media, and 43% of those sharing pictures of egg dishes. 

British Egg Week 2016 (10 – 17 October), is inspired by street food and this year’s most on-trend ingredients. Visit for two collections of #putaneggonit recipes, one created with the help of street food pro Seb Holmes, showing how the use of eggs can transform dishes and make them more exciting.
