New TV campaign for British Lion eggs

British Lion eggs will be back on TV in the New Year with their first major advertising campaign in a decade, encouraging consumers to use eggs to ‘make a meal out of anything’.

The three month TV advertising campaign is part of a £1.5m marketing spend for 2015 and will see the return of two 30’ and two 10’ ads directed by Oscar winning Tom Hooper, director of The King’s Speech.

The campaign, which launches on 5 January across ITV, Channel 4 and a range of Sky channels, demonstrates how quick and easy it is to create a range of nutritious, appetising and contemporary main meals using British Lion eggs and whatever else is in the fridge. Featured recipes include Flamenco eggs, Spanish Omelette and Courgette Frittata.

The ads have been updated to include a new voice over encouraging consumers to visit, where they can find hundreds of quick and easy egg recipes, for more meal inspiration.
