Wake up to eggs this Farmhouse Breakfast Week

11/09/2009

This year there are more reasons than ever to celebrate Farmhouse Breakfast Week, 22nd to 28th January, as recent studies have found that eating eggs at breakfast may help weight loss, by keeping you fuller for longer.

The latest research from Surrey University, found that eating eggs at breakfast, compared to other common breakfasts, may help weight loss by keeping you fuller for longer and helping to reduce calorie intake from subsequent meals . Packed full of vitamins and minerals, and with less than 80 calories per egg, they are the perfect way to enjoy breakfast.

British Lion eggs have come up with two top breakfast recipes which are not only delicious and filling, but both are only around 300 calories per portion.

Make sure you look for the Lion mark when buying eggs, as this ensures that they have been produced to the highest standards of food safety.
